Company History
We trace our roots back to 1960, when Don Pepoon, a local entrepreneur decided to leave the comfort of one of the largest engineering companies in the world and fill a local need to provide impeccable service to a wide variety of construction clients needing innovative solutions packed with value. His legacy is a level of attention to detail and customer focus that is unsurpassed in our industry.
In 1988, shortly after our founder’s retirement, Triangle Builders was re-established in response to an ever increasing number of requests for PEMCO, Inc. (an affiliated company) to perform local general construction projects. Utilizing the management resources of PEMCO Triangle once again filled that local need. While we have recently changed the organizational structure of Triangle to a limited liability company, our legacy remains. We quickly discovered that we could duplicate our business processes and provide our services to a much wider geography. The response from our Eastern Kansas and Western Missouri customers has been a resounding endorsement of our founding principles.
Our ability to provide superior service to our customers on projects that we both are proud to showcase has provided us with steady growth and an ever-expanding list of satisfied customers. How do we know they’re satisfied? Forty four percent of our major projects and over sixty percent of all projects we perform are for the same customers.
Our philosophies are pretty simple. Hire the best people. Provide a superior support structure and equip them with the proper tools to insure their success. Impeccable and uncompromising integrity builds long-lasting and predictable relationships with our customers, our employees, our subcontractors and our suppliers.
